After each panel is framed, window and door openings are added manually, enabling easy customization as needed. The Avalon Robotics Linear Saw Infeed System is a robust and versatile solution tailored for high-efficiency linear saws such as the Alpine ALS, Mitek Blade, Hundegger, and Vekta. This system uses advanced conveyance technology to move bunks of lumber, varying in size, to designated pick positions. With a single loading position, operators can easily place bunks onto the conveyor, simplifying the loading process.

Once in place, a cable robot quickly and accurately picks multiple pieces of lumber from the pick positions and delivers them directly to the saw infeed. This efficient transfer and handling system minimizes manual intervention, speeds up the loading process, and ensures a continuous and steady supply of materials to the saw. The Linear Saw Infeed System enhances productivity, reduces handling time, and maintains a streamlined flow of lumber, making it an ideal choice for automated and high-output production environments.

In this video we take things a step further, picking up a large truss from the bottom chord, leaving it hanging upside down. Even with the unusual orientation, the robotic system handles it with stability and precision.
